تخرج من كلية الطب بجامعة أنقرة عام 1985. أكمل دراساته التخصصية في قسم جراحة المخ والأعصاب في جامعة هاسيتيب عام 1995. وفي نفس الجامعة، أكمل الدكتوراه عام 2005، وأصبح أستاذًا مساعدًا في عام 2006، وأستاذًا مشاركًا في عام 2007، وأستاذًا كاملًا في عام 2014.
مجال التخصص : جراحة النخاع الشوكي والعمود الفقري، النخاع الشوكي وأورام النخاع الشوكي، إصابات النخاع الشوكي، كسور العمود الفقري، أورام المخ.
