حلمي أوموت أونال، أستاذ مشارك، تخرج من أكاديمية جولهانه الطبية العسكرية عام ٢٠٠٢، وبدأ دراسته فيها عام ١٩٩٦. أكمل إقامته في الطب الباطني عام ٢٠٠٩، ثم عمل أخصائيًا في الطب الباطني في مركز كارامورسلبيه التعليمي بين عامي ٢٠٠٩ و٢٠١٠. أكمل تدريب زمالة طب الكلى عام ٢٠١٣، وبدأه عام ٢٠١٠. بدأ العمل أخصائيًا في طب الكلى في مستشفى أنقرة غاتا عام ٢٠١٣، واستمر كأستاذ مساعد عام ٢٠١٤. حصل على لقب أستاذ مشارك عام ٢٠١٧. خلال مسيرته الأكاديمية، أجرى العديد من المشاريع البحثية ونشر مقالات علمية محليًا ودوليًا. عمل في مستشفى أنقرة غاتا حتى عام 2021، ثم عمل في مستشفيات مختلفة بين عامي 2021 و2022 قبل أن يبدأ العمل كأخصائي أمراض الكلى في مستشفى كورو أنقرة في عام 2022. ولا يزال يعمل كأخصائي أمراض الكلى في مستشفى كورو أنقرة.
