Hello! I underwent a high-tech, simultaneous total hip replacement surgery on both legs at the Turan Turan Clinic (Bursa). The surgeries were performed two days apart. In mid-March 2025, I experienced a flare-up of my herniated disc. By the end of April, I had tried almost everything, from medications to various procedures (physical therapy, electrophoresis), but none of it brought any noticeable improvement. Finally, I decided to seek treatment at a clinic that performs herniated disc surgery and has a good reputation and reviews. Turan & Turan Health Group (Bursa, Turkey) met these criteria. First and foremost, I'd like to commend the consultant, Aboush, who always answered all my questions promptly and professionally. I was quickly provided with a preoperative plan and the surgery itself. After several consultations, I flew to Turkey. This clinic organizes transfers for its patients from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport after treatment. This is very important, as the transfer from Istanbul Airport to the clinic takes approximately two hours, and the vehicle must be comfortable and convenient for patients with such diagnoses. I took my wife to the hospital for heel spur treatment 4 or 5 months ago. They performed a laser treatment to break up the heel, but it didn't help. Then they said they would do a PRP treatment, which we also had, but again, we saw no benefit. And they charged us a lot of money. I definitely do not recommend them. After researching, I found out that Kestel State Hospital offers the same treatments for free.

Dr. Kayhan Turan made a mistake in his treatment. I am unfortunately very dissatisfied with Dr. Kayhan Turan. I would never recommend him. Two years ago, I consulted him about a problem with my knee. When I asked for PRP cell therapy, Dr. Kayhan Turan said it wasn't necessary. When I requested it again, he said it wasn't needed. For two years, I haven't recovered. He recommended a physiotherapy program, but despite following it meticulously, I didn't get better. Two years later, Dr. Kayhan Turan told me I needed surgery. Again, at the same hospital, Op. Dr. Abdulaziz Temiz said I needed surgery. He said the plicanis had thickened, and that's why I needed surgery. After that, I wanted to consult other doctors about the surgery. Op. Dr. Ali Arsoy from Nev Esentepe said I absolutely didn't need surgery because the plicanis wasn't thick. Specialist Doctor Selçuk Coşkun also said the plicanis wasn't thick and I didn't need surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Selçuk Coşkun said I should have had PRP done in the first three months; it was too late, PRP wouldn't work, and the problem had become chronic. Despite requesting PRP treatment from Dr. Kayhan Turan, he refused. Prof. Ömer Faruk Bilgen at Medikabil Hospital said surgery wasn't necessary. Op. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Aydemir from the City Hospital said surgery wasn't needed, as there was no thickening in the plicanic duct. Doctors in England said I should have received PRP treatment earlier. Doctors in England said there was absolutely no need for surgery. So how is this possible? Dozens of doctors questioned the need for surgery when Dr. Kayhan Turan and Dr. Abdulaziz Temiz recommended it. Some even laughed at the suggestion. I was very upset for days because I thought I needed surgery. I don't understand why PRP wasn't done in time despite my request. Why was surgery recommended for 67,000 TL when it wasn't necessary? They only accepted cash payment. Also, I requested ultrasound-guided PRP from Dr. Kayhan Turan. He said yes, he does it. I went into the PRP room, and there was no ultrasound. He applied the PRP to the opposite side of my knee, not the painful area. Before the PRP treatment, I told Dr. Kayhan Turan that the pain was there, not here. He smiled and said, "I know," and then performed the procedure in the opposite direction. That was a mistake. Dozens of doctors said that PRP should only be done on the painful area; otherwise, it's ineffective. On March 18, 2026, the doctor I saw in London said again, "PRP without ultrasound in random places yields no success." The PRP treatment was the most intense pain I've ever experienced. I don't understand why I had to endure this pain, even paying for it. I'm so upset. I still haven't recovered, I'm so sad. Despite repeatedly calling and asking if they were performing the procedure with ultrasound guidance, the experience was very upsetting. I don't understand. Why did you upset me? You said my plicanis was thick, and I was worried for days thinking I would have surgery. Look, dozens of doctors examined my MRI and said there was no thickening of the plicanis. I wish I had gone to Acıbadem or Medicana from the beginning. I chose Turan Turan Hospital because it was nearby, but I haven't recovered in two years. I am so upset that I wanted to write this comment. *** In your response, you stated that you performed PRP with ultrasound guidance, but this is a lie. You never examined my knee with ultrasound. You also mentioned that I didn't attend my other appointments. Were you waiting for me? I don't understand. Many doctors, including your personal mentor, Prof. Ömer Faruk Bilgen, have said that the surgery you recommended was pointless and unnecessary, and that the PRP application you performed was wrong. I'm not saying this; Dr. Kayhan Turan's own mentor is saying it directly.

I had shoulder tendon tear surgery and my doctor recommended physical therapy. I came to Turan Turan and I'm so glad I did. I couldn't lift my arm before, but now I can lift it quite a bit.
