وُلدت الدكتورة سيماي يلماز في أضنة عام ١٩٩٣، وانتقلت إلى إسطنبول عام ١٩٩٦. أكملت تعليمها الابتدائي والثانوي في إسطنبول، وتخرجت من مدرسة القديس يوسف الفرنسية الثانوية عام ٢٠١٢. أكملت دراستها الجامعية في كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة يدي تبه بين عامي ٢٠١٢ و٢٠١٧. وتواصل دراستها للدكتوراه، التي بدأتها عام ٢٠١٧ في كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة يدي تبه، قسم تقويم الأسنان. وتُعِدّ حاليًا أطروحتها للدكتوراه حول تقييم التسربات الدقيقة لأسلاك التثبيت المختلفة.
متخصصة في جميع أنواع تطبيقات تقويم الأسنان. تشمل مجالات اهتمامها: علاج تقويم الأسنان اللساني، وعلاج إنفيزلاين، وجراحة تقويم الفكين، وجميع حالات سوء الإطباق في الأسنان والعظام.
وهي عضو في الجمعية التركية لتقويم الأسنان (TOD)، وجمعية أكاديمية أطباء الأسنان التجميليين (EDAD)، وجمعية تقويم الأسنان اللساني (LOD)، والجمعية التركية لتقويم الأسنان (TAD)، والجمعية الأمريكية لتقويم الأسنان (AAO)، والاتحاد العالمي لتقويم الأسنان (WFO).
