TO ALL PATIENTS THINKING OF USING Dis212 PLEASE READ MY FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE REVIEW

After speaking to numerous dental clinics with my panoramic X-ray, I decided on going with Dis212. They told me I’d only have 2 hours in the dentist chair (my whole experience was 15 hours in Dis212s chair) for my procedure from grinding down my teeth to fitting my new crowns.

I flew out to Istanbul, they decided I needed and extra 2 crowns after an upto date X-ray, I was promptly put straight into the chair with a non English speaking dentist who ground down my teeth, the first appointment took over 3 hours and even though I was getting injected with anesthetic I was still feeling a little bit of pain. Each day I would return for shaping and was disappointed that I had no one speaking English in the room only an interpreter who was there at the start of the appointment and at the end. The pain was relentless by my final appointment of which I told the dentist who couldn’t understand and the interpreter who said it would go away. I had before and after pics of my teeth but was in that much pain I couldn’t keep a straight face for my final pic.

When I arrived home the pain never went away, both sensitivity and pulsing pain in my teeth and jaw. I was overdosing on pain killers in order to ease the pain. I contracted an infection in my tooth whilst I was in Istanbul and it gave me an abscess for the first time in my life of 43 years. I kept in touch with Dis212 who told me the pain would go, it never did. By April 22 I was in more agony, Dis212 invited me back I said yes ok, they offered to pay for my outgoing flight and hotel but when I told them the flight price they said NO you will have to wait till there cheaper!. I arranged flights in June.

I flew back in June after another X-ray they decided on giving me 3 root canals plus to try and sort the infection out with antibiotics and leaving the crown out so air could get to the infection. Using the same dentist I agreed. I was on pain killers all week. Although I had pain I was reassured that the pain would be temporary.

When I came back home, the pain started to come back, I got back in contact with Dis212 and they basically said I should be grateful I was invited back and I am just one of those rare cases that they can’t do anything about and my sensitivity will never go away. This conclusion left me really disillusioned with my decision to have my teeth done with this poorly run dentist clinic.

My local dentist in the UK kindly looked into my pain using there x-ray and could see straight away that the infection was still there and hadn’t been treated properly, also they said the 3 root canals were not performed to a high standard, hence the pain in those areas. I couldn’t get treated in the UK due to the costs so I went to a dentist in Izmir following a friend’s recommendation from the experience.

In January 2023 I flew to Izmir, they performed a panoramic x-ray but then performed a tomography as they couldn’t see clearly on the panoramic what the problem was. They also said the 3 root canals were poorly performed and the infection hadn’t cleared, I also had to have 2 extra root canals. They also said my 22 crowns were not fitted correctly hence why I was getting constant sensitivity issues with hot & cold food/drink.

Thankfully the Izmir dentist cleared my infection & performed the root canals with such care & professionalism that the constant pain went away. I am still dealing with the sensitivity as I didn’t have the 22 crowns replaced due to costs.

I contacted Dis212 about the 2 dentists view on there root canal treatment, they were very arrogant & said UK dentists are only jealous of the Turkish dentist industry, they didn’t know at the time that I had the rework done in Turkey! The customer care is the worst.

I am really concerned for future patients & would not wish the painful experience I had on anyone in future. It’s been a living nightmare.

Me and my wife have been treated before.
Emre was interested.
Thanks to him, he was very skilled in canal+filling and tooth cleaning.
It just seemed a bit expensive compared to other dentists. I think the salary issue needs to be revised. Other than that, everything was fine. The professors are competent in their work.
